I devised, edited and co-authored this practical, project-based book, as well as styling and managing the photographic shoots with photographer, Brian North. Packed with a smorgasbord of inspirational projects, planting recipes, and practical know-how, the book is all you need to grow…well, practically everything.
Co-authored with Simon Akeroyd and Jenny Hendy, I wrote the central section of this book on ornamental plants. The chapters include an explanation of the different types of plants and how to use them; design ideas; using colour and texture; seasonal effects; and how to plant and propagate various plant groups, such as trees and roses.
I revised and wrote new entries for the chapter on bulbs in this best-selling encylopedia.
I wrote the chapter on gardening for this fun, upbeat book. It includes simple projects that dads can do with their children, such as making a barrel pond, planting potatoes, sowing cress heads, and planting up old Wellington boots.
