I have over 25 years’ experience in the publishing world, having edited both national magazines and best-selling books. I am a qualified horticulturalist, and co-author of the books, How to Grow Practically Everything, The Complete Gardener’s Manual, and What Plant Where published by Dorling Kindersley and The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
I also write regularly for newspapers, garden journals, blogs, and the women’s press on all aspects of horticulture and garden design. My current work includes monthly contributions to Homes and Gardens magazine and writing the news pages for the Garden Design Journal. I am also the gardening editor for Achica Living, a blog for Achica, the hugely popular online homes and gardens retailer.
As well as writing and editing, I run one-day gardening workshops from my home in Hertfordshire. These are designed for beginners and those who would like to know more about gardening techniques and design, and include a home-cooked lunch and goodie bag.
